Solar Halo
In Pagan, magickal, and Earth-centered traditions, a rainbow around the sun (often called a sun halo or solar rainbow) is considered a powerful omen and threshold sign, a moment when the veil thins and forces are actively moving.
Magickally, a ring around the sun is seen as the Sun wearing a crown. Many Pagans see this to mean: authority, truth, and power are being sealed; higher forces are bearing witness; and/or the cycle is being marked as significant or complete.
