May the Gods be by your side, warmth in your heart, health in your body & strength in your mind.
As it is, in Light and Shadow.
~ The Violet Witch
Blaine, WA
First I'd like to thank you for visiting my site!
I'm all about teaching, loving, lifting and supporting…the Gods asked, and I am humbled they did. I teach and love with pride, openness and unconditionally. I know I am setting myself up for pain in this world and if I save one life, it’s worth it. I want other Pagans to know we have the same rights as others. I will stand side by side or in front of my brothers and sisters to insist we have a voice.
I have CPTSD and dissociative amnesia (the reason I started a website, to keep it straight) and unfortunately I didn’t know at the beginning there were misleading websites out there and ‘Marvel’, so I am in the process of getting the misinformation off my website. There’s not a lot of stuff that’s bad, mostly misleading. For instance, there’s a name of one of the horses that came from a fandom website, not credible information. SO PLEASE if you find a mistake, let me know. Due to my DA, I have a hard time recalling information. Whenever I use a site, I put it on my reference page.
My intention for this site is to: inform people of the basics of Paganism and Heathenism; educate those who want to follow Pagan beliefs and; most importantly show how The Craft can be used in every day life to assist you in organizing, managing and maintaining a Magickal Home (See Mundane Magick).
I consider myself a Eclectic Witch and a Heathen. I do not think "my way is the only way", it is the path that works best for me. You may find another path in Paganism which works for you and that is wonderful! Explore!! Knowledge is power and I believe you should never stop learning. You will meet people who say there is 'no wrong way' to do things. This is true, to a point. You can structure your beliefs any way you choose but there are some rules you'll need to follow. Just to name a few: offerings the Gods prefer; magickal correspondences (for the most part) and things like the flow of magick and energy. There are SOME rules.
In short, My faith is Norse Heathenism, my Craft is Eclectic Witchcraft.
I am constantly reaching out to learn new things so if you have suggestions, please feel free to contact me!
Why The Violet Witch? Violet and purple look very similar; but violet is a true color, with its own wavelength on the spectrum of visible light. Like the color, I am true and have my own wavelength. ;) My Dad had Alzheimer's so I hold the color close to my heart.
Finally, I want to thank:
My Father for being my best friend and biggest support in life. Forever in my heart!
My Sons who proudly admitted they had a Witch as a Mum even though they got teased...at first.
My Grandmother Reno for sowing me the path to true love and Faith. I do believe she would be proud of me Pagan or not, I live true to God's word.
My Mentor who saved my life by believing in me when all had turned their backs, Blessed Be Allison M.D.
My Sisters and Brothers who have come, gone and stayed. No matter where we stand now, know I will forever have your backs as the Gods intend.
Merry Meet!

I briefly cover some of the concepts and beliefs of Wicca including:
The Pentacle
The Wheel of the Year and other Wheels
Basic Beliefs
Wiccan Book of Shadows (My Grimoire includes a lot of information also included in a B.O.S.)
What do Pagans as a whole believe?
Polytheism: Many Pagans believe in and worship multiple Gods and Goddesses. They may view these deities as distinct beings with their own personalities, domains, and mythologies.
Nature Reverence: Pagans often have a deep reverence for nature and see it as sacred. They may believe in the interconnectedness of all living beings and the importance of living in harmony with the natural world.
Immanence: Pagans often believe in the immanence of the divine, meaning that they see the divine as present and accessible in the world around them, rather than transcendent and separate from creation.
Ritual and Magick: Many Pagans engage in ritual practices and may incorporate elements of magick or spell-work into their spiritual practices. These practices are often seen as a way to connect with the divine, manifest intentions, and bring about personal transformation.
Ancestor Worship: Some Pagans place importance on ancestral connections and may honor and communicate with their ancestors as a way to seek guidance and maintain a sense of continuity with the past.
Personal Responsibility: Pagans often emphasize personal responsibility for one's actions and the consequences that follow. They may believe in the concept of karma or the idea that one's actions have an impact on their spiritual well-being.
Reincarnation and Afterlife: Many Pagans hold beliefs in the cyclical nature of life, including the idea of reincarnation or the belief in an afterlife where the soul continues its journey.
Eclecticism and Individualism: Paganism is often characterized by its diverse and eclectic nature, with individuals drawing inspiration from various traditions, mythologies, and spiritual practices. There is often an emphasis on personal spiritual exploration and the freedom to develop individual beliefs and practices.
Sacred Feminine and Masculine: Some Pagans hold a belief in the importance of both the divine feminine and masculine energies. They may see a balance of these energies as essential for spiritual harmony and personal growth.
Ethics and Morality: While Pagan ethical frameworks vary, many Pagans prioritize concepts such as respect for others, environmental stewardship, and personal integrity.
Pantheism/Panentheism: Some Pagans hold beliefs that the divine is present in everything and that the universe itself is divine. They may see divinity as immanent in all aspects of existence.
Community and Fellowship: Many Pagans place importance on community and seek connection with like-minded individuals. They may participate in group rituals, gatherings, or celebrations to foster a sense of belonging and shared spiritual experiences.
Respect for Free Will: Pagans often emphasize the importance of personal autonomy and respect for others' beliefs and choices. They may reject proselytizing and instead promote individual exploration and self-determination.
Myth and Storytelling: Pagans often draw inspiration from mythology and storytelling, viewing these narratives as sources of wisdom, archetypal patterns, and teachings that can be applied to personal growth and understanding.
Mystical Experiences: Some Pagans seek and value mystical experiences, such as altered states of consciousness, spiritual visions, or encounters with the divine, as a way to deepen their connection to the spiritual realm.
