Notes:
Intention and Focus
What many people don’t understand is yes a spell may ‘work’ without intention and focus. The IMPORTANT issue is it has to GO to where it needs to go, TAKE HOLD of what needs to be done, BAKE to work
AND STICK for all time. That last part gets lost without INTENTION AND FOCUS.

A

Beltane Poem
On Beltane's eve, we gather round
To honor Freyja and Freyr, abound
The fires are lit, the drums resound
As we dance in circles, hand in hand.

The air is filled with the scent of spring
As we offer to the gods our offerings
Blossoms, ribbons, and bells we bring
As we celebrate the turning of the ring.

The Maypole stands tall and proud
A symbol of fertility and growth endowed
We weave our wishes into its shroud
As we dance and sing, a merry crowd.

The veil between the worlds is thin
As we welcome the spirits within
We honor our ancestors and kin
As we revel in the joy of Beltane.

So let us raise a horn in toast
To the gods and goddesses we host
May our celebrations be the most
As we honor our heathen Norse roots, engrossed.

My dear friend, hear my tale,
Of how I thought I'd surely fail.
Broken, shattered, all undone,
My worth felt lost, my light unspun.
But in the dark, a voice did call,
Saying worth lies within us all.
Though cracks and scars may mark our skin,
Our souls still shine, despite the din.
So do not fear the pain you bear,
For in your brokenness, you're still rare.
A masterpiece, uniquely made,
A heart and soul, unafraid.
So hold your head up, my friend,
And know that this is not the end.
For in the darkness, light will shine,
And worth, it waits for you to find.
Beltane Song or Chant
Spirits bless us, bless us please.
Bless our crops bless our seeds.
Bless our land bless our needs.
Bless our wombs bless our steeds.
Bless our hearts bless our deeds.
The Goddesses Will,
So mote it be done,
Blessings to all and harm to none!

Taking back my power is not an act of rebellion, but an act of self-love and self-respect.

Hear me, ancient powers of the North,
Grant me safe passage and swift travel forth.
Mighty spirits of Odin and Thor,
Bless my vehicle, let it soar.
By Mjölnir's might and Sleipnir's speed,
Guide my path in times of need.
Through rain and wind, through snow and hail,
Let my journey ever prevail.
Goddess Freyja, mistress of the road,
Protect me as I bear this load.
With every turn of the wheel, I pray,
Keep danger and obstacles at bay.
With this spell, I weave my desire,
To traverse the realms, my soul afire.
Norse gods and goddesses, hear my plea,
Bless this vehicle and travel with me.
So mote it be!

Car Blessing
By the powers of Yggdrasil's branches, and the energy of the nine realms,
I call upon the spirits of the North, with their ancient wisdom at the helm.

Bless my journey, guide me through day and night.
With your strength and protection, I invoke your aid,
Keep me safe on my travels, through every escapade.
Goddess Freyja, mistress of the chariot's reign,
Grant me your grace as I traverse this terrain.
With your cat-drawn carriage, swift and strong,
Bring luck and fortune to my journey along.
Glistening Bifröst, bridge of vibrant light,
Be my passage, connecting realms so bright.
Let me cross over in harmony and peace,
As I embark on this quest, may troubles cease.
Anointing this talisman, a key to my car,
Infuse it with magic, both near and far.

Cat ~ Bring them Home
To bring my cat back, I cast this spell,
With love and longing, my heart does dwell.
By moonlight's grace, I call out loud,
Guide my feline friend, safely through every shroud.
With a lock of fur and a whispered plea,
I summon the magic to set them free.
On gentle whispers, let my voice be heard,
Guide my beloved cat back with every word.
Through the night, across fields they roam,
Draw them close, guide them home.

Bring my cat back, safe and fast.
With gratitude and love, I seal this plea,
As I will, so mote it be.

Condolences
In this time of sorrow, when loss weighs heavy, May the Norse gods and goddesses offer solace aplenty. May Odin's wisdom guide you through the pain, And Freya's love surround you, gently sustain.
May Thor's strength bring you courage to endure, While Frigg's comfort wraps you in love so pure. Let Hel's realm be a place of peace and rest, As your loved one journeys to eternal crest.
May the spirits of ancestors, wise and grand, Extend their hands to help you understand. In the tapestry of life, love forever weaves, And though they're gone, their spirit never leaves.
Know that in the halls of Valhalla's embrace, Your loved one finds eternal joy and grace. May the Norse gods and goddesses bring healing deep, And in your heart, their eternal presence keep.

Condolences
In the cold and bitter winter's night, Our dear friend passed from mortal sight. His laughter and wit, now silenced forever, Leaves us with memories that we will treasure.
His sword, now still, once sang in battle, As he fought for honor, glory, and cattle. But Valhalla's halls now welcome his spirit, Where he will drink and feast with Odin and his kin.
Though our hearts are heavy and filled with sorrow, We know he is with the gods of tomorrow. So let us raise a horn in his memory, And honor our fallen friend's bravery.

Condolences
In the land of ice and snow, Our friend William was laid low. He fought with valor and with might, But death came to claim him in the night.
His laughter echoed through the fjords, His strength was known to all the hordes. But now he's gone, to join the gods, And tread the path where no one trods.
We'll miss his smile, his hearty laugh, The way he'd make us all feel daft. But in Valhalla, he'll find his peace, Where endless mead and battles never cease.
So let us raise our swords up high, And bid our friend a last goodbye. For William now has joined the brave, And he'll forever dwell in Odin's hall, the grave.

Condolences
In the depths of sorrow's sea, You feel adrift and lost, I see, But know that love can set you free, And guide you to a brighter destiny.
Though your loved one may be gone, Their memory will forever live on, And in your heart they'll find a home, Where they'll shine like a brilliant stone.
Take comfort in the love they shared, And the memories that they've prepared, For you to cherish, and to bear, Through all the moments that you'll share.
So let your heart be filled with peace, And know that healing will increase, As time brings gentle sweet release, And the pain of loss will slowly cease.

Spells and ceremonies formalize a disconnection from something that’s plagued or hurt you, and your brain receives it as something serious, which aids the emotional healing process.

-
Fire-Safe Container:
Cleanse your space and yourself.
Light the candle.
Sit in a comfortable position.
The next step may sound a little intimidating at first. After all, good things usually don’t start with “bind your feet and wrists together with the thread or yarn.” Alas, it’s an integral step in a cord-cutting candle ceremony. As you bind your ankles and wrists imagine all the pain, bad feelings and angst seeping into the binding. After you’re tied up, repeat things like:
-
“These binds block me from actively moving forward on my ideal path.”
- “I wholly release you from my life and wish you well.”
-
“This is what keeps me from receiving what I need, energetically and emotionally.”
-
"You no longer have a hold of me, I release you."
It’s time to release yourself from the binds and burn them in the fire-safe container.
Use the scissors to cut the binding while saying one of the following:
-
“I release the ties that bind me.”
-
"I release you, I release you, I release you!"
-
“I move forward in light, freedom, forgiveness, and love.”
-
“I am free from my past and revel in the present.”
After you feel you have successfully disconnected, spray or splash yourself with water to seal your intentions. Light the cords with the candle flame and let them burn down in the container. Then bury the ashes somewhere away from your home (best at a crossroads) or flush them down the toilet.

Cleansing Lemon Spell
The magical spell of burying a lemon is a folk practice often associated with cleansing and removing negative energy or influences from a person's life. It is commonly used in various spiritual traditions, such as Hoodoo, folk magic, and some forms of witchcraft. The ritual involves burying a whole, uncut lemon in the ground with specific intentions or desires in mind.
To perform the spell, you will need the following:
-
A fresh, whole lemon: Lemons are believed to possess cleansing properties and can symbolize purification and freshness.
-
A small knife or pin: You'll use this to inscribe symbols or words onto the lemon's skin.
-
Paper and pen: Write down your intentions, desires, or the negative energy you wish to remove.
-
A burial location: Find a spot in the ground, such as a garden or a potted plant, where you can safely bury the lemon.
Here is a step-by-step guide to performing the spell:
-
Choose a time: Select a time that feels energetically significant or aligned with your intentions. Some practitioners prefer to perform this spell during the waning phase of the moon to symbolize the removal of negativity.
-
Prepare yourself: Center yourself through meditation or any other grounding practice. Set your intention clearly in your mind and focus on the outcome you desire.
-
Inscribing the lemon: Take the small knife or pin and carve symbols or words onto the lemon's skin. These can be protective symbols, personal sigils, or the names of people or energies you wish to remove from your life. Be intentional and focused as you do this.
-
Writing down your intentions: On a piece of paper, write down your intentions or the negative energy you wish to release. Be specific and clear about what you want to achieve.
-
Burying the lemon: Dig a small hole in the ground at your chosen burial location. Place the lemon inside the hole and cover it with soil. As you do this, you can recite affirmations or a short incantation that reflects your intentions.
-
Visualize and release: As you cover the lemon with soil, visualize the negative energy or influences being absorbed by the earth. Imagine them being transformed into positive energy or dissipated completely.
-
Gratitude and closure: Express gratitude to the lemon, the earth, and any spiritual forces you believe in for their assistance in this process. Take a moment to reflect on the ritual and acknowledge that the negative energy has been released.
-
Aftercare: Leave the buried lemon undisturbed. Depending on your personal beliefs and practices, you may choose to let it decompose naturally or dig it up after a specific period, such as a week or a lunar cycle, and dispose of it in a respectful manner.
It's important to note that the effectiveness of this spell is subjective and can vary from person to person. It's always best to approach such practices with an open mind and a genuine belief in their potential outcomes.

Cord Cutting from someone who has passed on
Set up a sacred space: Find a quiet and comfortable space where you won't be disturbed. Light a candle and place it on a small altar or table. You can also include a photograph or an item that represents the person who has passed on.
Ground and center yourself: Take a few deep breaths to relax and focus your energy. Close your eyes and visualize roots growing from your feet, reaching deep into the Earth. Feel the grounding energy of the Earth supporting you.
Invoke the presence of the person: Gently speak the name of the person who has passed on, silently or aloud. Invite their presence into the sacred space. Take a moment to remember and honor them in your own way.
Visualize the energetic cord: With your eyes closed, imagine an energetic cord extending from your heart to the heart of the person who has passed on. Visualize the color and texture of this cord, acknowledging the connection you shared.
Cut the cord: Using your hand or a symbolic tool, make a cutting motion in the air between you and the person. State your intention to release any energetic attachments that are no longer serving your highest good. Imagine the cord being cut cleanly and smoothly.
Release and let go: As you cut the cord, imagine a burst of light and love filling the space between you and the person. See the ends of the cord gently retracting back into your heart and their heart, signifying a release of the connection.
Express gratitude and love: Take a moment to express your gratitude for the time you shared with the person and the impact they had on your life. Speak from your heart, sharing any feelings, thoughts, or messages you wish to convey. You can also silently express your love and well wishes.
Close the ritual: Thank the person for their presence and the energy they brought into the space. Blow out the candle or extinguish it safely, symbolizing the completion of the ritual. Take a few deep breaths to ground yourself and bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Deceased ~ Death of Beloved Father
My father, oh my father dear,
A warrior strong, a man of cheer,
Who sailed the seas and braved the cold,
And fought with courage, fierce and bold.
His beard was long, his eyes were blue,
His heart was brave, his spirit true,
He taught me how to wield a sword,
And showed me how to be a lord.
But now he's gone, his breath has fled,
And I am left to mourn instead,
The tears I shed, they fall like rain,
For I shall never see him again.
The winds of winter howl and moan,
And I am left here all alone,
My heart is heavy, full of woe,
For now my father's gone below.
But though he's gone, his memory lives,
Within my heart it still survives,
And I shall honor him each day,
And never let his name decay.
For he was more than just a man,
A hero in a distant land,
A legend born to live and die,
And now he rests beneath the sky.
So let the Valkyries come for him,
And take him to Valhalla's brim,
Where he can feast and drink and sing,
And be a warrior for the king.
Farewell, my father, brave and true,
I shall forever honor you,
And though you're gone, you'll never fade,
For in my heart, your memory's made.

Deceased ~ Death of Beloved Dad
My father's breath has left his chest,
His spirit now has gone to rest,
The fire within him no longer burns,
And to Valhalla, his soul returns.
A warrior's life, he lived with pride,
A son of Odin, he fought and died,
His memory lives forevermore,
In the halls of Asgard, he'll soar.

Deceased ~ Death of Beloved Dad
My father, oh my father dear,
A true Viking, a man of fear,
With sword in hand, he sailed the seas,
And fought with honor, strength, and ease.
His beard was long, his hair was wild,
His heart was fierce, like that of a child,
He taught me how to be strong and brave,
And showed me how to face the grave.
But now he's gone, his spirit passed,
And I am left to mourn at last,
The tears I shed, they flow like streams,
For I will miss him in my dreams.
The winter wind howls and bites my skin,
And I am left here to begin,
A new life without my father's light,
A world that's dark without his might.
But though he's gone, his legacy remains,
His strength and courage forever sustains,
And I will honor him every day,
And never let his memory fade away.
For he was more than just a man,
A hero in a distant land,
A legend born to live and die,
And now he rests beneath the sky.
So let the Valkyries come for him,
And take him to Valhalla's brim,
Where he can feast and drink and sing,
And be a warrior for the king.
Farewell, my father, brave and true,
I shall forever honor you,
And though you're gone, you'll never fade,
For in my heart, your memory's made.

Deceased ~ Death of Beloved Dad
As the wind howls through the trees,
And the sea crashes on the shore,
I stand here, a lonely soul,
Without my father, forevermore.
His voice no longer echoes in my ear,
His hand no longer guides my way,
And though I know he's gone from here,
In my heart, he'll forever stay.
For my father was a Viking,
A warrior brave and true,
He fought with honor and with might,
And to Valhalla, his soul flew.
The gods have welcomed him with open arms,
And the Valkyries have sung his name,
For he lived a life of courage and of strength,
And will forever be known in fame.
But though he's gone, his memory remains,
A fire that burns bright and true,
And though I may shed tears in his name,
I know he's watching from above.
So I'll raise my glass to him tonight,
And I'll remember his laughter and his smile,
For my father may have passed away,
But in my heart, he'll always stay a while.

Deceased ~ Death of a Cat
Feline friend, now in the arms of Freyja,
Whose gentle gaze and playful ways we'll miss,
No more will you roam the halls of our home,
Nor curl up in our laps with a contented purr.

With Bastet and her kin you'll find your place,
May your hunting be bountiful and your naps be long,
As we remember the joy you brought to our lives.

Deceased ~ Death of a Dog
Brave hound, now running in the halls of Valhalla,
Whose loyalty and courage we'll never forget,
No more will you guard our hearth and home,
Nor wag your tail with a joyful bark.

With Garm and Fenrir you'll find your pack,
May your hunts be fierce and your rest be peaceful,
As we remember the love you brought to our lives.

Deceased ~ Death of a Dog, Best Friend
My faithful hound, now grown so old,
Your fur once gleamed with youthful gold,
Your eyes now dim and tired, I see,
The pain in them is clear to me.
You've been my companion, my loyal friend,
A faithful companion until the end,
With wagging tail and joyful bark,
You've been my light in the darkest of dark.
Now as I sit beside you, I feel,
The pain that you must be feeling so real,
I wish I could ease your suffering now,
But I know it's your time, and I'll allow.
The bond that we shared, so strong and true,
The love that you gave, I'll always value,
I'll hold your paw, and kiss your head,
As we face the journey ahead.
And when you pass into the great unknown,
Know that you'll always have a place in my home,
Your memory will live on, forever strong,
As my best friend, my faithful hound.

When finished with your reading, add salt to the mixture and flush down the toilet or bury it at a crossroads.

• The cleansing can be performed at any time of the day.
• You can do the cleansing at any lunar phase, but the best time to do it is when the moon is waning.
• You can do the cleansing in any room you want but ensure that the room has a window to remove any negative energy.
• Ensure that you have all the ingredients necessary before doing a cleansing.
• Do the cleansing when you are alone unless you want to perform it on someone
LOOK THROUGH THE GLASS, NOT DOWN INTO IT, you can reabsorb the bad energies you just cleansed and would have to repeat it again!
Some basic interpretations:
* If the water smells bad or you can see blood, this is a work of evil operating signal.
* If there are small spots of blood in the water, this is a sign of bad luck and a damage caused by a strong witchcraft work, especially if the water is cloudy.
* If the water becomes cloudy without odor and blood, this is a sign of loss of the soul or energy, provided there is no blood present.
* If the egg yolk has the shape of a face, this is a sign of an enemy. A slender face indicates a male enemy, a round face indicates a female enemy.
* If the yolk takes the form of an eye, this is a sign of the evil eye.
* If there are small bubbles in the water, this is a sign that the negative energy was absorbed by guardian spirits.
* If the water is clear, without abnormal shapes, scents and blood, this is a sign that nothing unnatural is happening.
*MORE IN DEPTH INTERPRETATIONS*
1. When you break the egg and the yolk comes out with bubbles surrounding it or shooting upwards, it is a sign that the negative energy around you is too much, meaning you are very tired. This could be the reason why you have not had the strength to do anything. There are people who even feel dizzy or get headaches.
2. When you see a figure that looks like an animal or a person in the yolk, you should be concerned. If it is a person, the interpretation of this image is that he or she is envious of you. If it is an animal or object, you must recall if you have dreamed of it or if it is a problem in your life at the moment.
3. When you break the egg and you see pointy images in the shape of needles or nails, this means that there are people who have cast black magic spells on you, meaning they do not want you to succeed.
4. If you break the egg and a coat covers the yolk, it means that someone is always disturbing you and provoking you to make you angry.
5. When you see red or black spots on the yolk after breaking the egg, you should be attentive to the warnings. It is a sign with the interpretation that you have a disease in your body.
6. When the yolk is cloudy, black, or grey, this is a bad sign meaning there is an evil eye sent your way through magic spells.
7. If you see spikes facing downwards in the egg yolk, it is a symbol with the interpretation that you have a lot of anger that you have not let go.
8. If you see figures curled in the egg yolk, this is a bad sign warning you that you could fall ill and you need to go for a checkup immediately.
9. When you break a normal egg, the yolk always goes down. However, if the yolk remains in the middle or goes up, it is a bad sign meaning that someone is sending evil your way by casting magic spells.
10. When you see eyes in the egg yolk, this means that someone is jealous of you and is watching you. That is why you have been feeling discomfort and your path has been blocked.
11. If you see geometric figures in the yolk, they have different meanings. Triangles are interpretations of the lies you have been telling and your guilt. Squares tell you that you need to move forward and forget the past.
12. White halos surrounding the yolk mean that you make decisions too quickly and you need to slow down to get back in line.
13. If the egg yolk is hot, looks cooked, and the white appears extremely white, this is a sign that there is negative energy surrounding you. It means black magic spells have been cast on you. You should do another egg cleansing ritual to remove them.
14. Clouds or swirling figures in the egg yolk mean you have emotional problems that are affecting your relationships with other people.
15. If the egg yolk has many threads going up, it means gossip is disturbing your life and there are people who want to see you sad. You should do another egg cleansing to clear your path.

Spirit of the Water, please accept and wash away any of (person, place, or thing’s name) remaining energy. I release it from whence it came. Thank you. I release all that ties and binds me. I claim that which is mine. I move forward in light and freedom.
Preparation
Choose a suitable outdoor location where you can observe the moon clearly. Ideally, find a place with minimal artificial lighting to enhance the connection with Mani.
Set up a small altar or sacred space. Decorate it with white and silver cloths, moon symbols, and objects that remind you of the moon's energy.
Gather the following items: a white candle, silver-colored crystals (such as moonstone or selenite), a small dish of water, a feather, and a bell or chime.
Ritual:
Begin by grounding yourself. Take a few deep breaths, close your eyes, and visualize roots growing from your feet deep into the earth. Feel your connection with the earth and draw strength from it.
Light the white candle on the altar, representing the radiant glow of the moon. As you do so, say:
"By the light of this candle, I invoke the presence of Mani, Norse God of the Moon. May his divine essence be with us on this sacred night."
Hold the silver crystals in your hands, and imagine them absorbing the gentle moonlight. Feel their cool energy resonating with the lunar vibrations. Whisper or speak aloud:
"Oh, Mani, silver-locked God, I call upon your ancient wisdom. With your light, illuminate the depths of my being and guide me through the cycles of life."
Take the small dish of water and raise it towards the moon. Allow the moon's reflection to shimmer on the water's surface. Then, speak these words:
"Mani, I offer you this sacred water as a symbol of the divine feminine and the ever-changing tides. May it bless our ritual and strengthen our connection with you."
Take the feather and gently wave it in the air, creating a soft breeze. As you do so, visualize the feather as a messenger between you and Mani. Speak the following:
"Feather of the wind, carry my intentions to Mani's realm. May he hear my desires and grant his blessings upon me."
Stand still, facing the moon, and ring the bell or chime three times. Allow the sound to reverberate through the night. With each chime, let your intentions and prayers be sent to Mani, expressing your gratitude or requesting guidance.
Take a few moments to bask in the moon's glow. Feel the energy and wisdom of Mani permeating your being. Reflect on any insights or messages that come to you during this communion.
Full Moon Shower Cleansing Release Chant
Spirit of the Water, please accept and wash away any of (person, place, or thing’s name) remaining energy. I release it from whence it came. Thank you. I release all that ties and binds me. I claim that which is mine. I move forward in light and freedom.

Hand-fasting Knots
The idea of a hand-fasting is to join people in marriage or some sort of “binding” agreement. The very term “binding agreement” implies the very magic being done. We often think of binding magic as a way to limit a person’s movement and that is certainly one way to look at it. But a couple or a coven might decide to bind themselves together by hand-fasting. It’s the same principle as the joining spell above.
The hand-fasting ropes or cords can have knots woven into them to symbolize vows. For instance:
One Knot – My love for you
Two Knots – To each we shall be true
Three Knots – Yours, mine, ours
~The Witches Next Door

Hand-fasting Ceremony
This Norse handfasting ceremony brought together the energies of nature, the blessings of the gods, and the bond between the couple. Here is an example of a Norse handfasting ceremony:
[Location: The ceremony takes place outdoors, preferably in a natural setting, such as a forest clearing or beside a majestic waterfall.]
Officiant: (Standing at the center of the gathering) Welcome, friends, family, and honored guests. We gather here today to witness the union of [Partner 1's name] and [Partner 2's name]. They have chosen to embark on a journey together, guided by the ancient traditions of the Norse people. Today, we celebrate their love and commitment.
[The couple stands facing each other, joining their hands.]
Officiant: [Partner 1's name], do you pledge your love and loyalty to [Partner 2's name]? Do you promise to honor, support, and cherish them in all circumstances?
Partner 1: I do.
Officiant: [Partner 2's name], do you pledge your love and loyalty to [Partner 1's name]? Do you promise to honor, support, and cherish them in all circumstances?
Partner 2: I do.
[The officiant takes a cord or ribbon and wraps it around the joined hands of the couple, forming a handfasting knot.]
Officiant: By the power vested in me and by the blessings of the Norse gods, I bind your hands together in a symbolic gesture of unity and commitment. Just as this knot is strong and unbreakable, may your love be steadfast and enduring.
[The officiant holds the bound hands and addresses the couple.]
Officiant: [Partner 1's name] and [Partner 2's name], may your union be blessed by the gods and protected by the spirits of the land. May you face the challenges of life together, finding strength in one another and in the bonds you have forged today.
[The officiant releases the handfasting knot.]
Officiant: As the knot is undone, so too are your lives now intertwined. May you walk this path hand in hand, supporting and encouraging each other along the way.
[The officiant raises a drinking horn filled with mead.]
Officiant: Let us toast to the newly joined couple! May your days be filled with joy, your love be everlasting, and your spirits forever entwined.
[The couple drinks from the horn and then offers it to their witnesses and guests to share the symbolic drink.]
Officiant: By the ancient customs of the Norse people, I now declare you husband and wife (or partners, depending on their preference). You may seal your commitment with a kiss.
[The couple kisses.]
Officiant: May your love shine brightly, guided by the light of the North Star. May the gods watch over you and bless your union. Congratulations!
[Applause and celebration follow as the newly joined couple begins their new chapter together.]

Hand-fasting Ribbon and Knots
Handfasting ceremony that incorporates the use of knots in the ribbons:
[Location: A serene garden adorned with flowers and greenery.]
Officiant: (Standing at the center of the gathering) Friends, family, and beloved guests, we are gathered here today to witness the union of [Partner 1's name] and [Partner 2's name]. They have chosen to unite their lives in love, and we honor their commitment by invoking the sacred traditions of handfasting.
[The couple stands facing each other, their hands joined, while ribbons or cords of different colors are draped across their hands.]
Officiant: [Partner 1's name], do you vow to share your life with [Partner 2's name], supporting them in all endeavors, and nurturing a bond built on love and trust?
Partner 1: I do.
Officiant: [Partner 2's name], do you vow to share your life with [Partner 1's name], supporting them in all endeavors, and nurturing a bond built on love and trust?
Partner 2: I do.
[The officiant picks up the first ribbon, representing the first aspect of their union.]
Officiant: With this ribbon, we honor the first aspect of your relationship—your individuality. Just as this ribbon is distinct, so too are you as individuals. Cherish your unique qualities and continue to grow, for it is through the strength of your individual spirits that you can come together as one.
[The officiant ties a knot with the ribbon around the couple's joined hands.]
Officiant: As this knot is tied, let it serve as a symbol of your individuality, forever entwined with the bond you share.
[The officiant repeats this process with additional ribbons, each representing a different aspect of their relationship, such as trust, loyalty, communication, and support. After each knot is tied, the officiant speaks a few words.]
Officiant: Let this knot symbolize the trust you place in one another, the loyalty that binds you together, the open lines of communication that shall always exist between you, and the unwavering support you offer in times of joy and in times of challenge.
[Once all the ribbons are knotted, the officiant addresses the couple.]
Officiant: [Partner 1's name] and [Partner 2's name], behold the knots that bind your hands together—a tapestry of love and commitment. May these knots remind you of the promises you have made to one another, and may they serve as a constant reminder of the strength and unity you share.
[The officiant gently unties the knots.]
Officiant: As these knots are undone, let it signify the freedom you grant each other—the freedom to grow, the freedom to pursue your dreams, and the freedom to face the world hand in hand.
[The officiant steps back as the couple remains with their hands still joined.]
Officiant: By the power vested in me and with the blessings of love and unity, I pronounce you partners in life. You may seal your commitment with a kiss.
[The couple shares a heartfelt kiss.]
Officiant: Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you [Partner 1's name] and [Partner 2's name], united in love and bound by the sacred ties of handfasting.
[Applause fills the air as the newly joined couple takes their first steps together.]

Hekate’s Night Ritual
Beginning at sunset on November 16th until sunset the on the 17th is Hekate’s Night. Hekate’s ancient devotees held dinners in her honor known as Hekate Suppers.
On Hekate’s Night, food offerings consisting of any of the following that Hekate (and her dogs) love are served:
-
wine
-
honey
-
crescent-shaped bread and pastries
-
eggs
-
garlic
-
fish
-
mushrooms
These offerings of food are both consumed by those celebrating and left out by the front door (the “crossroad” between indoors and outdoors, between one’s private space and public spaces) or at a crossroad, on a (perishable) plate or flat stone, as an offering to Hekate as she roamed the Earth by night with her sacred dogs, and to invite her blessings for those who dwell inside.
Make your invocation and petition, this is a good time to ask for her assistance to release something from your life, and then walk away without looking back. Encountering or hearing a dog is an indication that your petition has been heard by Hekate and her sacred dogs.
On this night, it is good to acknowledge Hekate’s strength. Recognize her as the ultimate protector of all realms of existence.

Hot Foot Powder
Hot foot powder is a traditional folk magick practice used to drive away unwanted individuals or negative energies from your space. It's typically used to create a sense of discomfort or restlessness in the target, making them want to leave. While I can provide you with a general recipe, please keep in mind that magickal practices vary, and it's important to approach them with respect and responsibility. Here's a simple method to make hot foot powder:
Ingredients:
-
Cayenne pepper
-
Black pepper
-
Chili powder
-
Ground mustard seeds
-
Ground ginger
-
Ground sulfur (optional)
-
Salt (optional)
-
Dried herbs (optional)
Instructions:
-
Gather the ingredients: Start by collecting the necessary ingredients for your hot foot powder. The base of the powder consists of cayenne pepper and black pepper, which are the main ingredients responsible for the "hot" sensation.
-
Select additional herbs (optional): If desired, you can incorporate other dried herbs into the mix to enhance the properties of the powder. Common choices include red pepper flakes, crushed red pepper, ground mustard seeds, ground ginger, and any other herbs you feel align with your intentions. It's important to research the properties and correspondences of the herbs you choose to ensure they support your desired outcome.
-
Grind the ingredients: Using a mortar and pestle, grind the ingredients together until they form a fine powder. Alternatively, you can use a clean coffee grinder or a food processor to achieve the desired consistency. As you grind the ingredients, visualize your intention and the energy you want the powder to carry.
-
Add optional ingredients: If you wish, you can add a small amount of ground sulfur and salt to the mixture. Sulfur is often associated with banishing and repelling negative energies, while salt is known for its purifying and protective properties. However, these ingredients are optional, and you can choose to exclude them if you prefer.
-
Charge the powder: Once the ingredients are thoroughly mixed, you can charge the powder with your intent. Hold the container in your hands, close your eyes, and visualize the powder acting as a protective barrier, driving away unwanted energies or individuals. Focus your energy and intention into the powder, infusing it with your purpose.
-
Store the powder: Transfer the hot foot powder into a clean and airtight container, preferably one made of glass. Label the container clearly with its name and date of creation. Keep it in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat.
-
Application: When you're ready to use the hot foot powder, think carefully about your intentions and the ethical considerations surrounding your actions. Sprinkle the powder discreetly in areas where the target individual is likely to come into contact with it, such as their shoes, doorstep, or workplace. Remember to be mindful of local laws and regulations when using any substances.
Note: It's essential to exercise caution and personal responsibility when working with magickal practices. Always consider the potential consequences of your actions and respect the free will and well-being of others.

Joining Spell
This Joining Spell comes from Hoodoo folk practices, although this piece of magick is much older.
If you and your partner want to stay enjoined for a long time, each grab a sock and knot them together, then throw them under your bed.
You can also grab a couple of shirts (or whatever you want), just tie them up and toss them where you won’t think about them. As long as the knot holds fast, so will your relationship. Of course, it’s been said one might tie a partner’s sock to the bed frame to keep them from sleeping elsewhere, but then I wouldn’t know about such devious magick.

Joining Spell
To join two different things this Joining Spell is simple and perfect. Grab two pieces of cord, rope, twine, silk, or whatever you have. One cord represents one subject, the other represents the other. Tie them together. They are now connected.
Example: You want a job and to keep said job. Grab two ribbons. Visualize the job while you hold one ribbon in your hand, concentrate. Hold the other ribbon and visualize you having that job and all it will bring. Tie them together and put it somewhere out of sight.

K
Knot Magick
As you think of (or meditate on) what spell you’d like to cast – firmly tie knots in the string as follows:
With knot of one, the spell's begun.
With knot of two, the spell be true.
With knot of three, the spell is free.
With knot of four, the power is stored.
With knot of five, this spell will thrive.
With knot of six, this spell I fix.
With knot of seven, the spell will waken.
With knot of eight, the spell will wait.
With knot of nine, the spell is mine.
With knot of ten, it begins again.
So long as those knots stay firmly tied, your spell is alive – to break the spell, untie the knots.
Note: you can also tie other objects or ribbons into your knot to represent your intent. Remember ~ your intent is the most important thing to weave into your knots!

Knot Magick
Use knots to hold things, such as spells or wishes. A traditional rhyme often said when doing knot magic is associated with Doreen Valiente, or you can use the one below.
Visualize whatever it is you wish to bind within your knots, and then say these words as you tie nine knots into whatever you are using:
I tie the knot and set it right
I tie it true and tie it right
I tie the knot and count to nine
And now the thing I want is mine.

Loosing Fear Poem
In the halls of the Norse,
Where myths and legends soar,
There lies a tale of power,
Of goddesses who know no cower.
There's Frigg, wise and kind,
Whose sight sees all behind,
She teaches us to trust,
And to let go of fear's rust.
Then there's Hel, the goddess of death,
Whose wisdom helps us catch our breath,
She shows us that endings are beginnings,
And that change is always winning.
And let's not forget about Skadi,
The huntress whose strength never falters,
She teaches us to be brave,
And to never let fear enslave.
So let us honor these goddesses three,
And let their teachings set us free,
Let us shed our fears like old skins,
And embrace the courage that lies within.
For in their wisdom we can find,
The strength to leave our fears behind,
And in our hearts, we'll feel the light,
Of a fearless soul, shining bright.

Mirror Magick
Magic Mirror can do many things. Amongst those is the ability to provide visions answering your questions about the past, the present and the future. If you have experience in visionary methods of divination, the use of the Magic Mirror to accomplish this task may be easy and natural. In this case try using your usual method. Mind though that being able to easily use other element’s visionary divination doesn’t necessarily mean you can just as easily use the Earth Element’s Magic Mirror. So, if you are used in using a Water Element’s, for example, method of divination, don’t get discouraged if the Mirror doesn’t work for you at once.
For those who haven’t practised any other visionary divination method, or in case your usual way doesn’t work with the Mirror, here we are going to see how to make the Mirror work for us in order to provide us with visions answering our questions.
The Method:
Getting Started
In a dim lighted room – preferably having only a candle for light – sit comfortably having your Mirror in front of you. Don’t sit on the floor. Unless you are very used to it, it will give you more obstacles than help. But sit in a chair and have both feet stepping on the floor.
Focus your eyes in the centre of the Mirror and start breathing deeply and relaxingly for a while. When you feel your mind focused and your body relaxed, keep focusing your eyes on the centre of the Mirror but try to keep your eyes steadily open. To the best of your ability, don’t blink.
Also, don’t ask a question. This is not yet the time to do so. Just focus your eyes there. The Mirror will seem to expand and fill your eye sight. This is a good thing. When this happens keep your self calm and relaxed. Don’t get exited. If your heart beat rises, then stop, thank the Mirror, cover it, and repeat the procedure the next day.
The divination
After that step, you’ll see a cloud-like thing forming in the Mirror. Some see it white, some see it grey, some see it black, yet distinguished from the Mirror. Whatever way you may see it, it’s good. Avoid pre-choosing the colour. Just let it happen and accept it as it comes. Once again keep calm, and if your heart beat grows faster, end the procedure and repeat the next day.
When this cloud appears, either wait for it to give its place to a vision of the Mirror’s choice (aka don’t ask a question yet) or ask a simple question for which you know the answer, such as “What did I eat for lunch?” Then let the vision appear revealing the answer.
After this first vision appears, you can ask any question you want. The Mirror will reply forming a new vision. In some cases a cloud will appear to cover the existing vision and then scatter giving its place to the new vision, while in other cases the vision will change without the cloud’s interference. Whatever the case, all is good.
How much should you practise?
Whenever – before or after the first vision – you lose focus, feel tired or your heart beat rises, stop the procedure, thank the Mirror, cover it and repeat the procedure the next day.
With daily practice you’ll be able to stay focused more easily, and the steps will need less and less time to be completed. What you need is a little patience and daily practising.
A word of caution: Always clean the room you are going to do a divination before and after the procedure. Also, never ask questions for others without their permission.

Patience Prayer
Oh, mighty gods and goddesses of the North,
Grant me the strength to be patient and calm.
In moments of frustration and impatience,
Let me remember the wisdom of your palm.

Wise Odin, guide me with your all-seeing eye,
Help me see the bigger picture and not just what's nigh.
Teach me to value the journey and not just the destination,
And to find joy in the wait with a heart full of elation.

Sweet Freya, bring me the love and compassion,
To understand others and their actions.
May I be kind and gentle in all my interactions,
And find solace in the knowledge that all things have their factions.

Mighty Thor, let me be strong and unwavering,
In the face of adversity and frustration.
Grant me the courage to endure the waiting,
And to find joy in the journey with determination.

Let me draw upon the patience of the earth,
The slow and steady pace of the seasons.
May I learn to be present in the moment,
And find peace in the midst of life's reasons.

Oh, great gods and goddesses of the Norse,
Grant me the patience to endure and persevere.
May I find joy in the wait, and peace in the silence,
And emerge stronger and wiser, now and forever.

Pregnant Spell
When it comes to matters of conception and fertility, it's important to approach them with sensitivity and respect for the complexities involved. It's advisable to seek professional medical advice and assistance for any fertility concerns. While spells can be a part of personal rituals and intentions, they should not replace medical guidance. Here is a spell focused on fostering a positive mindset and inviting the energy of fertility:
Ingredients:
-
A white candle
-
A small piece of rose quartz or moonstone
-
A fertility symbol of your choice (such as an acorn, a small figurine, or a symbol that represents fertility to you)
-
A piece of paper and a pen
-
A small dish of earth or soil
Instructions:
-
Find a quiet and comfortable space where you can focus without interruptions.
-
Light the white candle, representing purity and new beginnings.
-
Hold the piece of rose quartz or moonstone in your hand and visualize the energy of fertility and creation flowing into it. Feel its warmth and nurturing energy.
-
Write your intention for conception on the piece of paper. Be specific, positive, and affirming. For example: "I invite the gift of new life and welcome the journey of motherhood/fatherhood."
-
Place the fertility symbol, the written intention, and the crystal in front of the lit candle.
-
Take a moment to connect with your emotions and desires for parenthood. Feel the love and readiness within you.
-
Recite the following incantation:
"With open hearts and spirits light, We call upon the gift of life. Fertility's energy, we embrace, Welcoming a child to our embrace."
-
Hold the fertility symbol in your hand and visualize the energy of fertility and creation expanding and radiating from it. See it enveloping you and your partner (if applicable), infusing you with the energy of conception.
-
Place the fertility symbol on the dish of earth, symbolizing the grounding and nurturing aspects of Mother Earth.
-
Let the candle burn until it naturally extinguishes. Allow the fertility symbol and the written intention to remain on the earth until you feel ready to remove them.
-
After the ritual, place the fertility symbol somewhere meaningful, such as a sacred space or near your bed, to serve as a reminder of your intention and your connection to the energy of fertility.
Remember, this spell is meant to be a personal ritual to cultivate a positive mindset and create a sacred space for the intention of conception. It is not a guarantee of pregnancy, and professional medical advice should be sought for any fertility concerns.

-
Begin by grounding yourself. Take a few deep breaths and visualize roots extending from your feet, anchoring you to the earth.
-
Light a small candle or place a protective rune symbol on your altar or sacred space.
-
Call upon the Norse gods for protection. You can address Odin, Thor, or Freyja, or any other deity you feel connected to. Say:
"Oh, mighty Norse gods of old, I seek your protection, strong and bold. As I enter this haunted space, Shield me from darkness, embrace me with grace."
-
Hold your hands outstretched and visualize a golden light enveloping you, forming a protective shield. See this shield repelling any negative energies or entities that may be present.
-
State your intention clearly and confidently:
"By the power of the Norse gods' might, I declare my presence in this haunted site. May their protection surround me true, Shielding me from harm, seeing me through."
-
Express gratitude to the gods for their guidance and protection. Offer words such as:
"Odin, Thor, and Freyja dear, I thank you for your presence here. With gratitude, I honor your might, Guiding me safely through this haunted night."
-
Extinguish the candle or symbol, symbolizing the completion of the ritual and the end of your connection with the gods.

Protection from Spirits
Do an offering to the local landvættir for hallowed ground.
Just milk, bread, and or honey are what I use usually.
Speak respectful words as you would to a much respected elder.
State your purpose and intentions for being there and ask them for a sacred space and protection while being there, then make your offerings by burying them about 6 inches in the ground.
Leave the place respectfully when you leave and maybe even throw any rubbish you see in the bin as a final act of respect to the land wights.

Rain ~ 'Make the Rain stop Thor’ Incantation
Thor, mighty god of thunder and might,
I call upon your power in this endless night.

With your hammer's strength, make the raindrops fall.

Before surgery cast this spell during the third hour after sunrise or the first or eighth hour after sunset.
Say: "On this day of great energy, in this hour of self-preservation, I call upon the ruling powers and the elementals to aid me."
Anoint two light blue or white candles with cypress essential oil (you can replace with pine, ginger, fir, juniper or geranium if you need but it is best to use cypress).
Inscribe one candle with the runic symbol Beorc, the goddess on the other, Os, the god.
Set the candles on the altar and light, saying: "I call upon the Lady and the Lord to stand by me. Let the power of thy love and thy protection surround me, that this surgery be successful and I gain good health." Drop rosemary and St. Johns Wort leaves into the flames. Say: "By the power of the Lady and the Lord, by herb and by light, let ill health take flight! So mote it be!" Let the candles burn down. Bury the remains.

Who is Speaking Ill About Me? Discover Ill Speakers
To cast a spell to discover who is working against you or speaking ill of you, you can try the following ritual. Remember to approach spellwork with respect and caution, and be mindful of ethical considerations when seeking such information.
Ingredients:
-
A small mirror
-
A white candle
-
A black candle
-
A small piece of paper
-
A pen or marker
-
A heat-resistant dish or bowl
-
Protective herbs (e.g., rosemary, basil, or sage)
-
A lighter or matches
Procedure:
-
Find a quiet and private space where you won't be disturbed. Begin by grounding and centering yourself through deep breaths and focusing your intention.
-
Set up your workspace by placing the white candle on your left and the black candle on your right. Light them both, symbolizing the illumination and revealing of truth.
-
Take the small mirror and hold it between your hands. Close your eyes and visualize a bright, protective light surrounding you. Feel its warmth and know that it shields you from harm.
-
Open your eyes and gaze into the mirror's surface. Say the following invocation:
"With this mirror as my guide, Show me the truth I must not hide. Reveal to me those who conspire, Against my well-being, their tongues afire."
-
Take the piece of paper and write down your intent clearly and concisely. For example: "Reveal those who speak ill of me and work against me." Fold the paper neatly.
-
Hold the folded paper in your hands and focus on your desire to know the truth. Visualize the words on the paper shining brightly, releasing a powerful energy that seeks out those who speak against you.
-
Place the folded paper in the heat-resistant dish or bowl and carefully light it on fire. As it burns, imagine the flames carrying your intention into the universe, illuminating the shadows and exposing the truth.
-
Sprinkle the protective herbs over the burning paper, offering an additional layer of energetic protection. Visualize a shield forming around you, warding off any negativity or harm.
-
Thank the energies and forces you called upon for their assistance. Close the ritual by extinguishing the candles, starting with the black one, then the white one.
-
Allow the ashes from the burned paper to cool. You may choose to bury them outside or scatter them to the wind, symbolizing the dispersal of negativity and the empowerment of truth.
Remember, spellwork is not foolproof, and it's important to approach the results with an open mind and discernment. Use the information you uncover wisely and responsibly, keeping in mind the potential consequences it may have on your relationships and interactions.
